Ava's Last Day of preschool

Ava had a fun last day of preschool on Tuesday. We went to the park and played with friends. Ms. Amanda have me a very sweet gift for helping plan all the classroom parties.

Hannah had so much fun swimming today with her best friend Chloe. They are so cute together! 

We also did some painting this afternoon. 

Baptized

I started reading a new book called Heaven Changes Everything a few weeks ago. This book provided me a powerful reminder that beyond hard times I face in my life, God's gift of heaven awaits me.  He has a plan for me and loves me so much. 

So last week while I was reading I prayed, I asked God for forgiveness, I accepted Jesus into my heart and I wanted to give my life to Christ. 

I have been going to church for about a year now and haven't been baptized. Last week I prayed about being baptized several times. 

At Church Sunday morning pastor Scott Rains said he would Baptize anyone that would like to be today. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. My prayers for the first time have been answered. I was so excited and scared. I was Baptized on May 25, 2014. I was welcomed to the Family.

BBQ with Friends

On Saturday we had Kerry and Kim's families over for a BBQ and swimming. The Dads and Kids had so much fun swimming. The water was too cold for the Moms. Lol 

We all enjoyed some great food and drinks. Thanks for coming over! 

That evening Ava had her friend Kaitlyn over for a sleep over. Hannah stayed with Kendra at her house. They both love sleep overs!

Cherry Berry

This afternoon we went to Cherry Berry to enjoy a special treat and see Princess Elsa. We had lots of friends come with us!

This week the kids and I enjoying swimming everyday after school. The weather has been so nice and warm. Here is a cute picture of the girls. 

Celebrating Hannah's birthday at school

Hannah wanted to bring treats for her class and celebrate with them. She also wanted us to come eat lunch with her. So we had our special date on Thursday this week. TJ and Ava were so good! I am so thankful Tim works so hard for us. I love spending all my time with my kids.

Ankeny Preschool Spring Sing

This morning Ava's preschool class had a Spring Sing. The songs they sang were ABC rock, Goldfish, Where is Thumbkin?

We are the Dinosaurs, The Turning Song, The Monkey Dance and Goodbye Song. 

After the performance Ms. Amanda played a slideshow from this school year. Ava had a great job. I will try to add a video from the performance. 

Play date with Music Class Friends!

We had a wonderful Wednesday playing at the park with our music class friends. Ava learned how to go down the pole. She was very proud of herself. TJ loves playing in the sand at this park. 

After the park we went to the library. Ava and TJ picked out books and movies.
