Start of Summer

Ava and TJ enjoyed Storytime at the Ridge Wednesday morning. Then we had  a Last Day of school party at Connor's house. The Smiths also came over for a swim play date. What a great day with all of our friends! 

Thursday we had more friends over to swim!

I can't believe school is out for the summer. Hannah will start 2 grade and Ava will go to Kindergarten in the fall. They are growing up before my eyes. TJ will start preschool.

More Camping Pictures

Hannah and Ava made a very sweet friend during this camping trip. She lives in Ankeny also. We got her number for babysitting. 

Camping at Honey Creek State Park

We had a blast camping at Honey Creek State Park. We enjoyed bike rides, walking the trails and playing on the beach. The kids learned how to climb trees and walk on rocks in the water.  We saw a baby deer today in the grass. The kids love searching for animals on our walks. 

This weekend they caught snails. Ava found some shells on the beach. 

We had camp fires at night and enjoyed s'mores. We made some wonderful family memories this weekend! 

The trees were a nature playground for the kids!

Camping at school

This week Hannah's class had two days of camping. They put tents up in the classroom. She said they had so much fun camping at school. 

On Thursday I went to lunch with Hannah and she showed me the classroom. So fun !

We also stayed for recess! They made camp T-shirts!

Saturday we had so much fun at the Smith's house. The kids love playing outside at thier house. The boys enjoyed the water table. Thanks so much for having us over!
