Friends over at the New House

We invited Bre's family over on Saturday. Bre is on both cheer teams with the girls. Jessica, Chris and her little brother Logan came over. We went kayaking and the kids loved it. I tired paddle boarding and it was really hard. I kept falling off of it. 

We had so much fun at the beach.

After the beach we had dinner at our house. Tim grilled hamburgers, hotdogs and brats. 

We also went fishing after dinner on the dock. 

We had so much fun with our new friends the Clark's. Thanks so much for coming over!

Friday night- swimming at the beach

Friday night after dinner we went to the beach. The kids enjoyed swimming at sunset and it was so beautiful! Then we went ghost crab hunting. This activity is TJ's favorite. He loves it so much!

Our first week in Florida!

We are getting all settled in our new house. The kids love their new rooms. The house is starting to feel like home. 

We have made a few new friends these week in Florida. We had a play date at Ashton's house and went to gymnastics plus for open gym. 

The girls had cheer choreography on Wednesday through Friday. It was a long cheer week. 

We also went to the public library and got library cards. And went over to St. Andrews state park. It was a beautiful state park

First Beach Day!

We had a great beach day last Sunday. We had so much fun as a family. The water and weather were beautiful! It was so peaceful to sit on the beach.

Road trip to Florida

On Thursday morning July 21, we took off for Florida. It took us two days to get to Florida. We had a fun drive together as a family.

Saying goodbye to our Ankeny friends

On Wednesday July 20th, we went to all of our close friends houses. It was so hard and sad to say goodbye. We have loved all of these friends like our family. 

We have shared some amazing memories with these friends over the past six years. I am looking forward to our summers in Ankeny with our best friends.  I know we are not saying goodbye but see you later. We hope you all come visit us in Florida. You all are welcome to come visit anytime. So please do and often!

Hannah and Clare's last play date!

Hannah went over to Clare's house Monday afternoon and all day on Tuesday until 8 at night. 

They made friendship blankets together. It was so sweet and thoughtful. Hannah has been sleeping with her new blankets. 

Thank you so much for having her! She loves her time over at your house. 

It was so hard to say goodbye to Clare. They both hugged a lot and both Moms were crying.

Hope VBS Fun 2016

The kids went to VBS this week for three days. It was amazing because Hollie and I got to run together every morning. It was so nice to get that time together before we left for Florida.
