Hurricane Irma
We got a 5 day weekend because of the hurricane. We did prepare the house some and watched the weather very closely. But we also had a lot of fun together.
The girls and I got our ear pierced together. It was a very fun experience to do it together. There were no tears and I was very proud of them.
We also went on several walks on the beach to check out the weather conditions!
We enjoyed our mini vacation together! So glad we had no damage from the storm but praying for the whole State of Florida.

Welcome Baby Reese!
Last weekend I had two baby showers for my friend Ashton. The first shower was a girls night out. So fun with my JSL friends!
On Sunday afternoon the girls and I went to a brunch baby shower. The girls loved playing all the baby games.
Petersen Family Garden
A few weeks ago we started a garden. The kids helped plant all of the seeds. They are excited to see how fast our vegetables will grow. Here are pictures of planting day!
