Tuesday Play Date

We had so much fun playing at Kim's house today. The kids made little pizzas for lunch and they enjoyed playing outside. Thanks for having us over! Thanks Kerry for the Easter Treats! 

Ankeny Play Day

Ava participated in the first Ankeny play day for preschool. She did 10 events during the play day. Here is a list of events: bowling, basketball, softball throw, soccer, balance beam, dart ball, dancing with ribbons, baseball and 25 meter run. 

I think her favorite was bowling. She bowled a 54 for three frames. Great Job Ava! 

Thank you so much Kerry for watching TJ! I was so happy to spend the morning with Ava at her play day!

New Hair

The girls got their hair cute on Wednesday. Hannah told Ashley she wanted her hair to look like mine.

Friday with my girls

I had a really special day with my girls. Ava and I went to school and had lunch with Hannah. Hannah loves our lunch dates and gets really excited to see us. Ava misses her big sister so much when she is at school. She also enjoys going to see Hannah. 

After lunch Ava and I went to the Des Moines Playhouse for a play, Sleeping Beauty. We both enjoyed our special date. I really enjoy spending one-on-one time with the kids. 

Tomorrow I am going to take TJ to the library while the girls are at school.

Saturday Night Fun

Hollie and Jason came over for dinner Saturday night.  We all had so much fun.  It was nice to see Jason.  He has been working so many hours!  Thanks for coming over!  Always a good time with the Smiths.

This week TJ learned to shoot the ball into the basket.  He loves playing basketball.  It is so cute.  Basketball is his new favorite game.

Mother Daughter Tea Party

Saturday afternoon Hannah and I went to a Mother Daughter Tea Party for a special date.  It was so nice to spend one-on-one time with Hannah.  We made princess crowns and enjoyed some really good cupcakes.  Hannah also made a wish in a bottle.  We had a fun afternoon spending time together.  It will be nice this summer to have her at home again.
