Hannah's a big girl

We had another first yesterday. Hannah rode Maddi's bike with out training wheels. She was so proud of herself. Lauren was a great teacher! I wish I could upload the video. I was able to post the video to Facebook! So make sure you check it out. 

First Day of School Party

After school yesterday we all went to our neighbors house Terri for a first day of school party. We enjoyed treats and games. I enjoyed listening to all the kids first day of school stories. So much fun to spend the afternoon with our wonderful neighbors.

First Day of School

Last night we read the book called The Kissing Hand and our Special Poem. Hannah put her magic dust under her pillow. 

I made Hannah muffins this morning for her special back to school breakfast. I had a number 1 candle in the muffin for 1 grade. I also gave her a new book. 

I can't believe Hannah is in 1 grade. I am going to miss her so much!

TJ wanted to hold Hannah's lunch box for her. It was so sweet!

Meet the Teacher Night!

Tuesday evening was Meet the Teacher Night! This year we had to go to two different schools. Ms. Amanda is not at Northeast this year. 

Ava was so excited to see her new classroom and see Ms. Amanda. She missed her over summer break. 

Hannah was very scared to meet Mrs. Ford so she wouldn't take any pictures with her . She seems really nice! 

After we left Hannah's school we went to Cherry Berry to celebrate back to school week. 

Last Day of Summer Break!

Yesterday was the last day of summer break. We had an awesome day with our friends. We enjoyed two new parks. The parks were so much fun!

Then we went swimming at our house. I am going to miss summer. We had a great summer together. 

Last Monday Zoo Trip

Today was our last Monday Zoo trip before school starts on Thursday. I still can't believe summer is over and the girls have to go back to school. I am going to miss them so much! 

We had a fun day at the Zoo with the Smiths.

Brushy Creek State Park-Camping Weekend

This weekend we camped at Brushy Creek State Recreation Area in Leghigh, IA. We had a great weekend. We enjoyed fishing, bug hunting and canoeing. We had our first family canoe trip. We fished off a fishing pier. Hannah and Tim caught 12 fish total.  We also went on several walks together as a family. I love all the family time on our camping trips.
