Christmas Eve Celebration

We had a great Christmas Eve Celebration.  Tim and I let the kids open their presents from Aunt Jody and Uncle David after breakfast. They loved all their gifts.  Thank you so much for sending their gifts Aunt Jody and Uncle David.

During the afternoon we went to the 3:00 Christmas Eve service at church.  It was a wonderful service.  I really got into the Christmas spirit.  The candlelight was beautiful during the service.

After the church service we went over to Kerry and Eric's house for dinner.  Thank you so much for having us over for dinner!  We all had a wonderful time!

The kids made reindeer food to make sure Santa stopped at our house. They also said their goodbyes to Elfy.

Merry Christmas to our friends and family!  Hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday!

Happy Birthday to Mommy!

On Monday we went to the City Museum in St. Louis and Maddi joined us for the fun.  We had so much fun together!  The kids enjoyed all the different slides.  Hannah and Ava made Christmas ornaments in the art room.  TJ loved riding the train around the museum.  We all had a fun time together.

We meet my parents for lunch at our favorite place to eat.  It was great to see my parents one more time before we headed back to Iowa.  I love Iowa but miss my parents all the time.  Maybe one day I can talk them into moving to Ankeny.  Life would be awesome then!

Here are some fun pictures from our day!  Happy Birthday Mommy!

Mom and Dad's Christmas

On Sunday we celebrated Christmas with my parents and Tim's birthday!  We had so much fun on Sunday.  We first went swimming at the hotel with Maddi and Ethan.  The kids were so excited to spend more time with their cousins.

Then we went over to my parents house for the afternoon.  It was nice to spend more time with them.  We enjoyed dinner at Texas Roadhouse.  The food and drinks were awesome.  After dinner we went back to my parent's house to open presents.  This year my mom really spoiled the kids.  She got the girls their first American girl doll, matching outfits and a cheer uniform for their dolls.  TJ got some really cool baseball stuff and an awesome Cub jacket.  The kids are so lucky.  Thank you Mom and Dad for a wonderful Christmas.  We love all of our gifts.

After presents we went to go see Danny at the bowling alley.  He had to work all weekend.  The kids bowled one game.  Hannah bowled an 89!  I couldn't believe it.  Then Danny gave the kids an hour game card to play all the fun games.  That was so very nice of him.  We all had a blast at the bowling alley.
What a fun day and night with my parents!

Happy Birthday to Tim!  We love you so much!
