Scallop Festival 2016- Friday Night

The annual Scallop Festival draws big crowds to Port St. Joe… all eager to celebrate this family fun activity and Gulf County delicacy. Sample scallops cooked in many tasty ways, enjoy a variety of great southern foods, lots of live music from amazing artists such as SISTER HAZEL, arts and crafts, a kid’s zone and a whole lot more, all overlooking beautiful St. Joseph Bay.  

Tonight we listened to The Krickers and Cutty's. The kids loved the kids zone and all the good treats!

Dockside Dinner with friends!

We went to dinner at dockside in Port St. Joe with Finley and his family. It was a beautiful evening with an awesome sunset right on the water. I can't tell you how much I love this place. It is so peaceful!

TJ played so hard during his soccer game. I am so proud of him! I love watching him play!

Lunch date with Ms. Hannah

Today I enjoyed having lunch with Hannah and her friend Hallie. We got to sit outside by ourselves and it was so beautiful outside. I really enjoyed my time with the girls at lunch.

I also got the girls new shoes this week. Hannah loves them! They were 80% off at Kolhs. Great deal! 

Story time at the library

Every Tuesday TJ and I go to the library for story time. Several of his friends join us. This week they enjoyed balloon painting. 

Friday night lights!

Friday night we went to the football game. We enjoyed a prep rally and a trailgate party before the game. This town goes all out with the football games. The trailgate had free food and drinks for everyone. The girls got to go out in the football field before the game started. 

The kids really enjoy going to the football games and I just love the small town feel!

State Park appreciation day

Sunday morning we went to church Sunday school and then we went to the State Park all afternoon. It is right by our house. We enjoyed music, great food, and a nice boat ride on the bay. We saw so many fish, sea turtles and string rays. 

TJ's favorite part was riding in the fire truck. The chief told him, he is welcome at the station anytime and he will take him on a ride. 

Ava loved the touch tank. She loves touching all the sea creatures. 

Hannah's favorite part was spending time  on the beach. I love our family days in this beautiful area. We truly live in paradise! We are so blessed to call this area our home.

First Soccer Game for TJ

TJ had his first soccer game on Saturday. His team played 5 short games. He played so hard and I am so proud of him. TJ is number 6. He almost scored a goal. Our next game is on Thursday!
