Potty Training TJ

We are on day three of potty training TJ. He is doing so good. He is telling me when he needs to go potty. I can't believe he will be out of diapers soon. What a big boy! 

Pow Pow Princess- Ms. Ava

Tuesday evening at cheer Ava was picked to be Pow Pow Princess! I am so proud of her. She has been working very hard at practice. Great Job Ava! We love you!

Ava's First Day of 4 year old preschool

Monday was Ava's first day of preschool. She was so excited to see Ms. Amanda again and meet new friends. 

The night before school I read her the special poem and the Kissing Hand story. She loved the magic dust. 

Tim made her a special breakfast! Daddy was also able to come with us for drop off. She loves when her Daddy can take her to school. We are so lucky!

She had a wonderful first day of school!

Weekend @ Home!!

We took a weekend off of camping! Next weekend we will be camping at the Lake of Ozarks. Can't wait to see my parents! 

We had a fun relaxing weekend. We went swimming on Friday night. Saturday I ran 6 miles and did the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge with Macy!

Then Saturday evening the Smiths came over! We had a great evening hanging out, swimming, eating and enjoying some drinks. 

Sunday I helped at KQ at church with the girls.

Yoga class and Library Fun

Wednesday morning we went to a Yoga kids class at the library. Ava enjoyed the class but TJ not so much. He doesn't share my love of yoga. After class we read lots of books at the library.

Back to school parent meeting!

Last night I had Hannah's back to school meeting. Her teacher Mrs. Ford is so caring and sweet. She is going to help Hannah so much. She plays a song to start there morning everyday. She played it for all the parents last night. I took pictures of the words. I love the song. What a great way to start your day!

Shopping and Swimming Fun

Yesterday we went to TJ's favorite store. Then friends came over to play, swim and have lunch together. We had a fun morning all together!

Monday Fun at the Zoo

We had a great day at the Zoo on Monday. This will be our last zoo trip because Ava starts school on Monday. 

Camping at Viking Lake State Park

This weekend we went camping at Viking Lake State Park in Stanton, Iowa. The park is located in southwest Iowa. The campground is located on the lakeshore so the kids enjoyed lots of fishing. We had dinner Saturday night at the Lake view restaurant. 

Saturday during the day we went to Omaha Zoo. We spent about 5 and half hours there and still didn't see everything. 

We went to the Lied Jungle, Aquarium, Red Barn Park, Orangutan Forest, Gorilla Valley and the Butterfly house. This Zoo is so much fun. TJ loved watching the gorillas.
