Camping @ Lake Anita

On Thursday evening we headed to Lake Anita State Park in southwest Iowa. We camped here for 4 nights. This State Park is beautiful with lots of wild flowers.  I really enjoyed the bike trail along the lake. The kids rode their bikes for about 5 miles around the lake. I was so proud of them. The fishing was really good here also. The kids caught lots of fish. We went frog hunting but didn't caught any. They caught lots of bugs and butterflies.

On Saturday we drove to the Omaha Zoo. We had a blast at the zoo. We spent four hours at the zoo and TJ walked the whole time. He is such a big boy.

We made wonderful family memories this camping trip. The weather was so nice!
